Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer dreamed of all her life to become a multitasking superstar. As a child Jennifer was into many music styles, but she particularly loved Afro-Caribbean songs like merengue salsa and the bachata. In addition, she loved mainstream music such as hip hop as well as pop and R&B. Music was her passion, but she was equally intrigued by the movie industry. West Side Story, a musical by Rita Moreno (1961), was her most significant source of inspiration. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer is also an entertainer and a Catholic schoolgirl, attended for eight years at Holy Family Catholic elementary school located in The Bronx. After a time of four years in the Bronx, she graduated from Preston High School, an all-girls prep school. Jennifer was an accomplished athlete who was a part of track and fields and tennis at school , was also an exceptional pupil. At Castle Hill, she spent her childhood in a 2-story residence. Jennifer quit her parents' home at 18 to move out. Lopez could work in a law practice in this time, while taking up dancing at night.
