Denise Lee Richards is an American actress, and also a former fashion model. She was famous for her role in the reality TV show 'Denise Richards The Complicated', as well as playing the character as Debra Simon in the comedy series 'MountainState'. The actress is also famous for having appeared in various films for example, 'The Word Is Not Enough', "Wild Things', 'Starship Troopers and 'Love & War' for instance. Richards, who was the child of her father who was a telephone engineer and a mother, who owned a cafe who lived living in Downers Grove in Illinois, was raised as a child in Downers Grove with her younger sister Michelle. She was educated at El Camino High School and Downers Grove North High School. The model began her career as a model professionally when she graduated from high school. Following graduation she visited many well-known cities like Paris, Tokyo and New York and took part in photo shoots, commercials, etc. She eventually branched out to acting. Richards is a passionate animal lover, has been involved with various organizations working to ensure the welfare and protection of animals.
